The Mazie L. Johnson Reading Initiative will host its third annual Summer Camp July 16th-20th at the Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Yellow Bluff, Ala. The camp hours are 10a.m. to 3p.m. daily and the cost for each participant is $5 for the entire week. We would love for your child to participate in this Academic Camp and attend some of the many workshops scheduled for this week. The facilitators will be conducting workshops such as Creative Writing, Jewelry Making, Quilting, Letter Writing, Good Study Habits, Table Etiquette, Healthy Eating Habits, Poetry, Vision Boards, and College Preparatory Skills Enhancement. The Camp will conclude with Fun Day on Friday, July 20. Lunch will be served daily. Invest in your child’s future; enroll them in the Mazie L. Johnson Reading Initiative Summer Camp.
