Page 1 of 2  Do we need another hotel downtown?
It all depends on who your ask. If you ask developers, they will say “yes.” If you ask investors, they would say “Let me think about it.” Travelers who consistently use hotels, will say (a) What will the economy be like in 2013-2014; and (b) Let us gather some statistical data on the new hotel presently being built downtown next to the Sheraton. Some people would also say, “Build it and they will come.” Sometimes this scenario holds some truths and sometimes it doesn’t.
