Birmingham, AL – Hoar Construction, LLC and Paladin Construction Group, Inc. have been awarded a contract to construct a 64,000 square foot Physical Fitness Facility with a 5,900 square foot, 3-lane indoor jogging track at Ft. Campbell, KY. Hoar Construction and Paladin Construction have a mentor/protégé joint venture agreement and have teamed with Gresham Smith & Partners for this design / build facility. The new physical fitness facility will accommodate cardio and circuit training areas. It will contain a free weight area, group exercise rooms, a fitness assessment and stretching area, a gymnasium, racquetball courts, men’s and women’s locker rooms and sauna areas. In addition, the project includes construction of a multi-purpose athletic field, 2 softball fields, an indoor climbing wall, and surface parking for 140 vehicles. Hoar Construction and Paladin Construction have teamed on a previous project for the Corps of Engineers, a hangar repair and restoration project on Carnes Field at Ft. Rucker, AL. Hoar is currently working with Christman and Associates on the renovations to the Robert Smith Vance Federal Building and Courthouse in downtown Birmingham, AL.
