Early Sunday morning on April 22d at 6:30 a.m. a group of Zeta women met at the First Light Women’s Shelter to prepare breakfast as part of take Z-HOPE™ program. Z-HOPE ™Zetas – Helping Other People Excel (Through Mind, Body and Spirit) is a holistic multi-dimensional outreach program. One of the primary goals of Z-HOPE™ is to enhance, cultivate and empower participants to develop healthy lifestyle choices in all stages of their lives. Yolunda Marshall a greeted the women and children in a warm-sincere manner of love. Breakfast was served at 7:30 a.m. consisting of grits, eggs, sausage, biscuits fruit cups, juices and jelly. The servers were Bernice G. Wilson, chair; Ruth T. Simmons, Donnell B. Anderson, Hilda T. Benion, and Yolunda Marshall. Seventy (70) women and three children were served.
