 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:13As you travel through life and experience the things God allows you to experience, there will be times when you are excited, times when you are discouraged, times when you are hopeful and times when you are hopeless. While you are working to accomplish things and go places in life there will be times when you want to quit, times when you want to go back, times when you have what you need and times when you don’t have anything at all BUT GOD is always there. There is not a time in your life, when you have committed your life to Christ, that He is not there. When you need God, He is there. You MUST learn to utilize God when you are down, call on Him. You MUST learn to speak to God when you are lonely, He is listening. You MUST learn to tell others that He lives, He is there. Others will want to remind you of where you come from, tell them BUT GOD! Circumstances and situations will want to stop you BUT GOD! Lack will try to depress you BUT GOD! Competitors will try to overtake you BUT GOD! When you stop and think about it, you know you should not be where you are BUT GOD! You know you should not be able to do what you do BUT GOD! You should be addicted, abused, lonely, depressed, unemployed, homeless and so much more BUT GOD! Learn to speak to your enemies, your life experiences and even yourself. Whenever you need a push remember “if it were not for God on your side, you never would have made it”. But you did. BUT GOD delivered you from it all, Minister Deidra Brown |
