![]() TV Comedian Xavier, best known and recognized in the “EASY MONEY” commercials has thrown his support behind the effort to “MOTIVATE TEENS TO STAY ON TRACK” and encourages all his friends to lend their support and/or celebrity behind the effort. Raising teenagers himself made it an easy decision to get behind the TEEN EXPO 2012 PROJECT of Teen Interns*Jobs*Volunteerism. Since 1996 Teen Expo has provided a series of events designed to build character, increase self-esteem and teens in Jefferson County. “We are committed and motivated in assisting teens in achieving gainful employment opportunities, internships and volunteerism by partnering with local merchants, universities, business and organizations,” said Career Program Coordinator, Tina Thornton. Supporters like Brown Mackie College, The Frito Lay Company, Mass Mutual Financial Services, Alasure Insurance, Legacy Group 2000, WAYE RADIO, WJLD RADIO, The Relationship Show, RW Family & Friends Fundraiser For Churches, Solid Gold Girl Network, Sparkle Theatre Productions, Save The Youth, Phi De I Drum Corps, Freestyle Percussion, Crisis Center, Inc. and Fight 4 Life Boxing Ministry, to name a few, all have a joint interest in motivating our teens to become quality producers, independent thinkers and global citizens. TEEN EXPO 2012 EVENT is on March 24th at Western Hills Mall, Fairfield, Ala. from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. This event will highlight scholarship and career resources on both a local and national level. They will include prizes of: cash, DVDs, CDs, T-shirts, digital video recorder, movie passes, gas cards, gift cards, and much more. Area teen/youth choirs and other talented teens are also able to participate. Event organizers are excited to have Comedian Xavier, who has been a staple in the comedy community for over a decade. He has rocked crowds all over the southeast and Midwest. No college campus, nightclub or church pulpit is safe from his wrath. Xavier’s credits include being a loving husband and father of eight, that’s on top of an acting career, juggling back and forth managing voice over work as an on air personality for 95.7 JAMZ. Some of his TV appearances include a guest set on the Ricky Lake Show back in 2000; more recent television roles have Xavier being the ever popular characters Reggie from the Easy Money commercials.
