 Michael SmithThe Birmingham Police Department reports today that a suspect has been charged in connection with a shooting that occurred in the 3800 block of the Inglenook community on Saturday, January 30, 2010. The victim drove to the service station at the intersection of Tallapoosa Street and Eastlake Boulevard after the shooting. The victim was treated at the hospital and released. The suspect has been identified as: Michael Smith, B/M, 22, of Birmingham, Alabama. Warrants for Attempted Murder and Robbery first degree have been obtained against the suspect. The suspect is in the custody of the Jefferson County Jail. This case is still under investigation. |
