 Mrs. Latimore, Barbara Merchant, Best friends Grethel Lewis, Cassandra Pullam, Barbara Brooks, Vera BellPhoto by Boyd Photo      Mrs. Barbara Merchant celebrated her 60th birthday, April 13th, at Harris Gym, 600 Brussels Circle. The gym was beautifully decorated in black and white zebra print, and her guests were in zebra print. Mrs. Merchant’s eight grandsons were in the black and white zebra bow ties she handmade; her five children also were in zebra print: Demetrius, Demarest, Dontai Nicole, and Doug. Mrs. Merchant changed into her Diva outfit with (song) “I’m Coming Out” by Diana Ross. Her special guests were Councilor Valerie Abbott, Martha Epsy, State Representative Oliver Robinson and her best friend Grethel Lewis from Peterburg, Virginia. |
