Three local women capture finalist titles in Business Awards
 
 BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Amanda LeBlanc of The Amandas, Krista Conlin, Principal and Founder of KC Projects and Ruwena Healy, CEO of Marketing 24/7 were named Finalists in the 9th Annual 2012 Stevie Awards for Women in Business, an international competition drawing entries from 17 countries. The final results of the Stevie Awards for bronze, silver and gold honorees will be announced at a dinner at the Marriot Marquis Hotel in New York City on Friday, November 9.
 This year, Amanda LeBlanc is a finalist in the Female Entrepreneur of the Year, Business Services. Krista Conlin is a finalist in the Female Entrepreneur of the Year, Business Services in the Advertising, Marketing, & Public Relations Industries, as well as her company, KC Projects’ service with Shelby Humane Society being a finalist for Communications or Public Relations Campaign of the Year, Public Service. Ruwena Healy’s company, Marketing 24/7 is a finalist for Communications or PR Campaign of the Year, Low Budget.
 The Stevie Awards for Women in Business are produced by the creators of the prestigious American Business Awards and International Business Awards. The Stevies are widely considered to be the world’s premier business awards, where more than 1,200 entries were submitted this year for consideration in more than 90 categories, including Executive of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Women Helping Women and Communications Campaign of the Year.
